 Decision to proceed on Mass casual leave on 06/01/2012

Please refer to our letters dated 20/12/2011 and 29/12/2011 on the captioned subject and the discussions CGM(HRMD) , NABARD , HO , Mumbai had with the Organising Secretary and other Office-bearers of NBOA today i.e. on 04/01/2012 on the captioned subject. We thank the bank for discussing the matter with NBOA.

In this connection we understand that CGM (HRMD ) , during the meeting under reference,  has given a clear cut assurance to NBOA that-

1)      The bank will not proceed ahead with direct recruitment of grade 'B' officers till the matter is discussed with NBOA.
2)      The bank will not take any further  administrative steps  on LTC cases till the matter is discussed with NBOA.

We also request you to that applying similar principles of discussions and agreements with a recognised  representative body of Officers , that NBOA is , the bank may put on hold other HR decisions taken by the bank , such as NTS scheme for Grade 'A' officers , change in PAR format , freezing of promotions in grade A to B also on hold till the matter is discussed with NBOA on 31/01/2012 or any other date prior to it as it may be convenient to you and the bank.

As a responsible body , not keen to jeopardize the legitimate corporate interests of our organisation and also in order to honor this long overdue gesture of the bank , NBOA has decided to defer its call given for proceeding on Mass casual leave on 06/01/2012.

Resolution of General Body Meeting of AINBOA, Kolkata

The General Body of NBOA, Kolkata unit in the meetings held on 03 January 2012 discussed about present agitation programme under the banner of AINBOA and specifically the issue of the call of Mass Casual Leave by AINBOA on 06 January 2012.
At the onset NBOA, Kolkata thanked the members for their wholehearted support and active participation in various agitation programme undertaken so far by AINBOA viz. Mass Signature Campaign, Demonstration, Dharanas etc.
The meeting also thanked The Chairman, NABARD for inviting AINBOA on 31 January 2012 for discussion on all pending issue and withdrawal of suspension order of Shri Sushil Kumar, Asst. Manager.
Thereafter threadbare discussion were held on the issue of Mass Casual Leave proposed on 06 January 2012 and it was decided to urge upon AINBOA to issue letter of thanks to the chairman as also to the Board of Directors for the proposed annual discussion on 31 January 2012 and also request them to ensure to put on hold all the pending issue till the annual discussion to facilitate positive outcome.
The meeting also requested the AINBOA to defer the call of Mass Casual Leave (06 January 2012) till the outcome of Annual Discussion and also to take stock of situation on 10-11 January 2012 at New Delhi when National Council Meeting would be held.
